PowerPulse news June 2024
PowerPulse celebrated its 10th anniversary
We write 2014 when was founded with the aim to analyse energy markets and to support energy-intensive companies with their electricity and gas purchases. After a few years, PowerPulse was ready to take a step forward by introducing technical energy challenges and to provide customers insights in the consumption profile, solar and wind turbine opportunities, and CHP optimization projects.
As a next step PowerPulse invested in a third activity pilar: expansion of focal points to sustainability in the energy supply of customers. Decarbonisation of energy vectors by power purchase agreements and sustainability roadmaps made the PowerPulse team grow to 15 today.
We acknowledge deeply all our employees, customers, stakeholders, and collaborations over the past 10 years who have helped shaping PowerPulse to the energy consultant it has become.
PowerPulse is still proud to be your neutral energy consultant in an ever-changing energy world by going that extra mile proactively and timely with in depth knowledge and expertise. We are looking forward to the next 10 years of our adventure and hope to make that interesting journey together with all our clients.

At TRANSFORMATIE24 Scott Van Wetter presented our carbon accounting project
On 6 June, Flux50 hosted a very well-organised network event at the converted coal fired power plant Transfo in Zwevegem. With content sessions on flexibility, sustainable heating, and resilient districts, and over 300 participants, PowerPulse was excited to participate, present, network and learn.
In the sustainable heating session, Scott Van Wetter enlightened the audience about sustainable opportunities for heating and cooling processes for SMEs via carbon accounting. Our SCATE4SME project with Scone and Carbon+Alt+Delete is a perfect basis for identifying carbon intensive processes which was clarified by a use case from the food sector.
