The coming months, PowerPulse will showcase its expertise on several occasions. Feel free to watch and learn.
- 15/10: Voka Vlaams Brabant business club energy transition: At Unix Solutions, a company specialized in web hosting, cloud solutions, dedicated servers, Yannick Rotsaert and Jan Gilot will elaborate on asset optimalisation, PPA, and flexibility.
- 21/10: PowerPulse Webinar: On our annual webinar, Matthijs Van Boxel and Kobe Meeuws will deep dive into the energy market trends: ‘High gas prices: our future of our past?’ With a focus on the recent transformation in the energy scene by the Middle-East war, it is interesting to see how developments in LNG can manoeuvre us out of this LNG supply crunch. Closer at home is flexibility becoming key for the energy system. We will delve deeper into the financial expectations for various flexibility markets.
- 10/11: Masterclass Sustainable Energy COGEN: COGEN sets up a series of masterclasses on sustainable energy with an exploration of the energy markets at 10 November. Eleonore Buisseret and Yannick Rotsaert will enlighten the audience with the latest insights in the gas and CO2-market.
- 17/11: Forecasting Agoria: The “Forecasting 2027” Tuesday organised by Agoria will contemplate on how the most important market and cost evolutions will develop in 2027. The energy markets and costs will be stripped down by Benoit Matthys.
- 24/11: Flux50 Smart Energy Academy: Also this year, we are honoured to be included in the programme of the Smart Energy Academy of Flux50. Jade de Romsée will bring a complementary story to the technically inspired programme by explaining how future energy contracts will be structured to implement flexible assets and renewable energy production.
Lunch session and company visit @Duvel-Moortgat organised with Energik
On 23 September, Energik organised a lunch session at Duvel Moortgat on how a major brewery is taking step by step towards a 90% reduction in carbon emissions by 2050. The process with a tour around the first steps were showcased by Sam De Belder.
As PowerPulse, Jan Gilot had the honour to present how contracts are evolving in an ever more complex energy system: from straightforward profile contracts to baseload contracts with special attention for, offtake profile, flexible assets, renewable electricity production, injection and curtailment, and decarbonisation.
